JB&B appoints Al Barba as president of JB&B Environmental
Jaros, Baum & Bolles (JB&B) is pleased to announce that Al Barba has joined the team as the President of the newly formed JB&B Environmental, focused on Quality and Compliance for Water + Air. Barba comes to JB&B with over 30 years of experience in chemical and environmental engineering and will play a critical role in JB&B Environmental, providing consulting and testing services that will support clients with both essential maintenance and monitoring as well as necessary compliance and oversight in water and air-related consulting.

Throughout Barba’s career in customer-oriented technical sales based on environmental consulting and chemical and environmental engineering, he has amassed a breadth of experience working alongside real estate stakeholders, including owners, portfolio managers, property and facility managers, tenants, operations managers, construction and mechanical contractors, and environmental health and safety experts to develop programs that fit the client’s specific needs. This substantial body of work has provided him with an exceptional understanding of environmental consulting practices, earning multiple professional and technical licenses, as well as direct sales and management expertise. Barba has worked with clients at all levels of organization to implement programs with respect to the long-term operation and life cycle of client assets in the healthcare, commercial, residential high-rise, institutional, data center and manufacturing vertical markets. Furthermore, he possesses an extensive network, as he has worked extensively in the New York metro, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions of the U.S., as well as in Canada, with many different organizations, large and small, to bring value to their operations as a trusted advisor.
