LYON, France—Willow, the leading provider of digital twin solutions for modern, efficient smart infrastructure and real estate, is pleased to announce that Caroline Dénès, Business Development Director, will lead the establishment of Willow’s first office in France, which will operate out of Lyon. The move for Caroline from Australia will position the leader in digital twins to capitalize on the proptech, sustainability and ESG markets in Europe, as Willow continues to support teams managing assets across the real estate and rail industries. Willow’s presence in Europe also includes their office in London and European headquarters in Amersfoort, Netherlands.
Caroline’s move represents the importance of the French and European markets and momentum in the region, specifically around innovation in proptech and climate tech. The end of 2021 saw cities in France such as Paris, lead the way in climate change initiatives and technology and become central to European customers and partners. The area is now a hub for Willow’s growth in a number of sectors, including rail, real estate and new construction, among others.
Caroline has more than 10 years of real estate and construction industry experience, and has spent the last 13 years in Sydney. Willow has a global workforce of over 350 employees, which includes digital engineers, software engineers, sales and marketing, customer success and subject matter experts as well as operational staff and technical support staff located across North America, APAC and Europe.
“Europe is increasingly becoming a vital market for Willow and I am thrilled to support our team’s growth through partnerships and new innovations and uses for WillowTwin,” said Caroline.
“France, and Europe at large, are a very mature market in regards to the real estate, rail and climate tech industries,” said Marc Maathuis, Head of Europe, Willow. “Paris is one of the most attractive markets in Europe in terms of real estate investment, and Caroline will be a vital component to our success in the region moving forward.”
Willow’s expanding presence in Europe follows the growth of customers that have deployed WillowTwinTM on flagship assets in Paris.
