Snaidero USA New York Flagship Redesign Wins NKBA Innovative Showroom Award : The nearly 5,000 sq. ft. redesign of the Snaidero USA New York Flagship store by Italian architect, Mario Mazzer has won the Innovative Showroom Award (Medium Size Category) given out by the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
Snaidero USA President, Dario Snaidero hired Mr. Mazzer with the vision of turning the showroom into the ultimate one-stop shop for the most essential designs for luxury homes, displaying – for the first time – products from the company’s expanded made-in-Italy collection.
This means not just the kitchens on which the business originally built its reputation but also the bathrooms, closet systems, sideboard and storage systems, and interior doors.
The showroom concept, which the architect likened to “writing a story”, expresses the company’s philosophy of enhancing lives through designs that deliver both easy functionality and a stunning ambiance.
In the redesigned space, every detail contributes to the emotional energy of the environment.
All the products on display reflect the most current design trends while also carrying a quality of timelessness.
The chosen materials are a feast of textures that arouse the senses, creating a unifying thread from one display to the next: from the Venetian Terrazzo, brass, and satin aluminum used for floors, walls, archways, and fixtures to product finishes that include prestigious woods, ceramic, marbles, glass, and innovative lacquers.
The Mario Mazzer Architects team handpicked the accessories for each display, opting for an eclectic mix of décor items that are minimalist but have personality and bold colors that create elegant contrasts with the rest of the interior.
“We are very proud of this industry recognition,” says Snaidero USA’s CEO, Alberto Snaidero. “We have created an immersive space where homeowners, architects, interior designers, and developers can explore our materials, design solutions, and services to bring their own vision to life in an effortless way.”
