Southland Energy to Perform Design-Build Energy Retrofits in Partnership with PG&E for Coalinga State Hospital : Following a successful Investment Grade Audit in 2020, Southland Energy was selected to perform design-build energy retrofits in partnership with PG&E for Coalinga State Hospital in Coalinga, California.
Southland Energy will upgrade the facility infrastructure, improve the quality of the work environment, optimize the building automation, and enhance the reliability and maintainability of critical heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems through the implementation of multiple energy conservation measures.
Slated for completion in September 2021, this project will produce an annual cost savings of approximately $1.2 million, significantly reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, and modernize aging infrastructure.
“This is an exciting opportunity for us to improve the conditions of the hospital for patients, staff, and visitors,” said Anthony Roner, Vice President of Southland Energy. “We look forward to working with PG&E to deliver this important project.”
