Sales leadership veterans Anne-Marie Hayward and Robert Gonzalez have been selected to lead Mark Spain Real Estate’s newly expanded operations in the Florida real estate market.
Hayward and Gonzalez will each have the title director of sales and will be responsible for launching residential real estate operations in the Orlando and Tampa markets. Their responsibilities will include agent acquisition, training, development, coaching and expanding the Florida sales team.
Mark Spain Real Estate has earned the top real estate team ranking in the U.S. for closed transactions by The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends for the last three straight years, selling more homes than any other Realtor or team in the nation. In 2020, Mark Spain Real Estate sold a record $1.4 billion in real estate, increasing sales 47% over the prior year. On average, the team sells 21 homes per business day.
Anne-Marie Hayward has 19 years’ management experience and 15 years of sales, organizational development, training, consulting and coaching experience. In her five years of leadership with Keller Williams, Hayward grew a new franchise from 14 associates to 140 agents in just 18 months and had a franchise office named one of the 10 franchises nationally for that organization. While Vice President of Business Development for the northern New England region of EXIT Realty, Hayward grew agent productivity 46% in two years.
While most recently owning and operating a coaching/training firm specializing in real estate professionals, she authored more than 35 training programs and served over 300 agents. Hayward and her family moved to Orlando in 2017 and reside in Seminole County. She is also a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge and completed Disney’s Approach to Quality Service program via the Disney Institute.
A big believer in giving back to the community, Hayward volunteers and supports the United Way, Best Buddies and the Special Olympics. Hayward also serves on the board of the Florida chapter of Fellowship of Women Leaders, is co-chair of the Women United Luncheon, which annually raises more than $150,000 for local families, and is a regular guest speaker for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
Robert Gonzalez has an extensive background as a sales and marketing leader/expert. He has a proven track record of team building, expansion and training. Gonzalez’s experience in sales, marketing and talent development make him ideally suited to help develop and drive Mark Spain Real Estate’s Florida expansion efforts.
A long-time resident of Florida, Gonzalez has extensive senior sales management experience in the timeshare industry and served as vice president of sales and marketing at a healthcare company. His motivational management style resulted in a proven history of acquiring and developing high-performance sales teams. Gonzalez is also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. Outside of work, he resides in Winter Garden and family is the key foundation in his life.
