MWSK Delivers HVAC solutions : MWSK is pleased to announce the delivery of HVAC solutions at Paramount Group’s 900 Third Avenue, a 36-story, 600,000-RSF Class-A office tower designed by Cesar Pelli, Viñoly Design Architects and Emery Roth and Sons in Midtown Manhattan. Working with consulting engineer Robert Derector Associates, MWSK was engaged to provide HVAC problem-solving expertise for the narrow freight elevators in the building.
MWSK Delivers HVAC solutions : MWSK replaced the original manufacturer’s basis of design with modular units that could be more easily maneuvered through the building’s tight spaces by deploying six 35-ton United CoolAir EZ Fit water-cooled units with ECM fans, VAV operation, digital scroll compressors, economizer options and premium Marvel controls. Shipped in modular pieces to fit through 36-inch-wide spaces, MWSK further served the installation contractors’ assembly and start-up supervision to ensure a highly efficient solution to a challenging construction issue.
