Announcing AMA Group : celebrates two decades of national growth and service expansion
Formerly AMA Consulting Engineers, an industry leader dedicated to providing cost-effective and solution-oriented engineering design and implementation nationwide, celebrates a name change to AMA Group, to be more representative of the organization’s diverse services offering and national presence, as it enters the 22nd year of operation, with a reputation of extraordinary client service and participating on exciting marquee projects, all while providing unique professional development opportunities for the AMA Group team.
AMA Group employs a business approach with a laser-like focus on client service, being attentive to cost and scheduling, and embracing emerging technologies. This is a strategy that AMA Group has relied on and refined since its 2000 founding in New York City, and the firm has since grown around consistent senior leadership, to provide a comprehensive suite of services across national offices in New York, New Jersey, California, Florida and Texas.
AMA Group now employs nearly 200 dedicated and talented professionals, who are the valued assets of the organization, with 40+ being licensed professional engineers and many others holding a variety of technology, energy and sustainability-related certifications. The collective knowledge and expertise housed within AMA Group has led to active projects across 44 states, many of which feature the most cutting-edge sustainable design solutions and energy efficient modeling techniques.

TM Technology Partners (www.tmtechpartners.com) was co-founded in 2000 with AMA, providing IT, Security, and Audio-Visual design services, and which has since expanded its core services around the same leadership team to include Smart Building Technology, Power-Over-Ethernet Lighting, Wireless Technology and Network Services.
AMA Design-Build (www.amadesignbuild.com) since 2009 has provided turnkey implementation services to a niche group of trusted clients who prefer to have their design engineers lead the construction efforts, focused on designing and constructing sophisticated engineering infrastructure projects having a heavy emphasis on complicated mechanical-electrical systems.
AMA Commissioning (www.amacxs.com) since 2013 has provided sophisticated commissioning and retro-commissioning services along with troubleshooting of building systems, plant operating manuals, engineering studies, mechanical/electrical testing. In addition, the commissioning group plays a critical role in the development of complicated designs by providing peer reviews based on years of operational experience.
Eligator Acoustic Associates (www.eligatoracoustics.com) is a recent addition to the design portfolio and provides architectural acoustic consulting services using state-of-the-art tools to bring practical, cost-effective solutions. Eligator senior leadership brings many years of experience to the firm, including a heavy emphasis on broadcast/production facilities and performance centers.

TRIAD Consulting Engineers (www.triadcei.com) was a strategic acquisition completed in 2020, having a 30+ year proven track record of providing specialty electrical systems design services, including medium/high voltage systems along with over 3000MW of solar panel systems design. In addition, TRIAD offers electrical systems testing and oversight for complex UPS and distribution equipment.
Gavan-Graham Electrical Products Corporation (www.gavangraham.com) which was part of the 2020 TRIAD acquisition, has been 60+ years the premier original equipment manufacturer to the electrical industry, offering a complete lineup of industrial and commercial and industrial products. This business but has quickly become an important part of the organization, considerably enhancing our electrical engineering expertise, and further highlighting our uniqueness within the industry.
