YellowBird and NASP announce innovative partnership benefitting safety professionals
YellowBird, a nationwide gig economy marketplace that matches vetted Risk and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professionals with businesses on-demand, is excited to announce a new partnership with the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP). NASP provides training and certification in the workplace safety industry exceeding basic OSHA compliance, while YellowBird’s marketplace helps vet and match certified professionals with businesses seeking EHS skilled experts.
“Businesses in insurance, construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, and other high-risk industries rely on YellowBird to help them hire qualified professionals with proper credentials for critical projects,” said Michael Zalle, CEO and Founder of YellowBird. “By partnering with the NASP, YellowBird can continue to grow its network and enhance safety programs nationwide.”
YellowBird’s suite of services includes OSHA incident investigations and mock audits, industrial hygiene, on-site safety manager, program and policy development, custom projects, and training. During the pandemic, YellowBird’s EHS professionals also helped small businesses, schools, and religious organizations develop safety protocols and training with a COVID-19 return-to-work program.
“Creating a faster hiring process helps our self-motivated NASP certified professionals move smoothly through the credentialing process as they build their experience,” said Eric Gislason, NASP’s Executive Director. “A partnership with YellowBird’s gig economy platform is a great fit for our NASP members.”
With pre-vetted professionals in all 50 states, YellowBird is helping companies soar to new heights (safely of course), with its EHS programs by providing the right individual for each unique project. The service is free for safety professionals, who can join the YellowBird network and see which companies are looking for EHS pros.
