Bellet Construction awarded contract to upgrade exteriors at Moxie Hotel FiDi at 26 Anne Street : Exterior restoration specialist to provide repairs on facades and window casements at 26-Story, 90Ksf contemporary Downtown hospitality destination
NEW YORK – Bellet Construction has been retained to implement upgrades to parts of the façade of the Moxie Hotel at 26 Anne Street in the Financial District. The 90,000-square-foot, 26-story property hotel has 228 rooms and opened in 2017. It is the fourth Moxy Hotel in New York City. The hotel is constructed through the city blocks from Ann Street to Fulton Street, where the repair was completed.
The work that will be executing, starting this spring, encompasses re-anchoring cladding on the façade, repairing a metal railing spanning the length of the building, and reinforcing window casements.
“This is a well-maintained property that was completed a little over five years ago,” points out Wayne Bellet, president of the third-generation exterior construction and restoration firm. “The fact that we have been engaged to repair minor deficiencies at this time truly reflects the excellence of the brand’s management and ownership.”
The Moxy Hotel flag is owned and operated by Marriott International. The sophisticated, urban-based brand has units throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia and is known for its “playful” contemporary décor, well-designed rooms, generous amenities, and affordable rates.
