Willow, the leading provider of digital twin solutions for modern, efficient smart infrastructure and real estate, is pleased to announce that Jon Tidd has been appointed as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to Willow, Tidd served as CFO, Chief Customer Officer then Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Australian digital infrastructure provider Superloop.
In his role as CFO, Jon will be responsible for driving Willow’s financial management including financial planning & analysis, treasury, financial control, financial operations, audit and investor relations. Tidd will also serve as a leader of Willow in positioning the company at the forefront of digital transformation as the need for the company’s technology expands and demand increases for more sustainable, transparent and efficient environments.
“It was obvious from the beginning that Willow has the ingredients to be the global leader in the application of digital twins for the built world,” said Tidd. “With impressive customers, a high-profile partnership with Microsoft, an experienced board and executive team, as well as an incredible company culture, Willow will continue to digitize more stadiums, rail networks, campuses, airports, office towers and other infrastructure assets around the world.”
Tidd’s appointment signals the continued growth of Willow’s presence in the technology industry both in the United States and internationally. In addition to his other responsibilities, Tidd will also analyze and provide insights to stakeholders and clients in delivering added value on projects and maximizing ROI for all involved. These insights will result from the continued innovation of the company’s platform, WillowTwinTM, which allows for data to be visualized and analyzed in ways that support owners and operators in saving time and money as well as helping to reduce inefficiencies.
Tidd is a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA), a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), has attended Stanford University GSB’s Executive Program for Growing Companies and CPA Australia’s ‘CFO Advance’ program, holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in International Business, Finance and Economics from the University of Manchester with exchange to NTU Singapore and is both an Australian and British citizen.
Joshua Ridley, CEO and Co-Founder, said, “Jon is a seasoned CFO with technology experience in both public and venture backed companies, we are very excited to have Jon join the Executive Leadership Team.”
