NEW YORK, NY – Verada is pleased to announce that The Learning Experience® has signed a new lease for approximately 12,250 square feet in total with 3,915 square feet on the ground floor and 8,335 square feet of below grade retail space at 510 Driggs Avenue. The development features 44 residences for sale and 27,000 SF of retail space on the corner of Driggs Ave and North 8th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Verada represented the building’s Ownership, Northlink Capital, in the transaction. The asking price was $165/SF for the ground floor and $60/SF below grade.
The space will house The Learning Experience, a leading early childhood education brand with more than 500 locations either open or in development across the United States and one location open in the UK as it begins its international expansion. Their mission is to provide excellence in care to children six weeks to six years old through a safe and joyful environment where they are happy to learn, play and grow! It is a great addition to the building which includes lots of families, puppies and children, as well as a space occupied by Boris & Horton, a pet-friendly community space and dog-friendly cafe.
Located one block from the Bedford L train and close to McCarren Park, The Learning Experience will add to retail sites catering to the growing family demographics in North Williamsburg. Verada utilized this demographic data to identify retail tenants that best suited the space and secured these deals before building completion.
