CORONA, Calif. — A grand opening celebration was held in Corona, Calif., for the debut of the new Everhome Suites by Choice, an extended-stay hotel brand launched by Choice Hotels International Inc. and developed by Paladin Equity Capital. Woolpert provided architectural design for the Everhome Suites by Choice brand, which plans to expand nationwide.
The suites by Choice have guestrooms that range in size from 324 square feet for a king bed studio to 658 square feet for a one-bedroom suite. The hotel and its suites were designed for comfort and convenience. Each suite includes a fully equipped kitchen, variable-height workstation, full-size closet and spa-like bathroom.
“The demand for extended-stay hotels has grown exponentially in the last couple of years due to the pandemic and remote working, which have fundamentally changed travel and housing trends,” Woolpert Program Director for Hospitality Tim Reber said. “Everhome Suites hotel is a culmination of Choice Hotels’ many years of experience in the extended-stay realm. When you add in the outstanding professionals at Paladin, it is easy to see why these hotels are attracting attention and investment opportunities.”
In June, Choice Hotels acquired the Radisson Hotel Group Americas. In July, ServiceStar Capital Management signed an agreement with Choice Hotels to develop Everhome Suites by Choice hotels across the country. Woolpert has provided design services for over a hundred projects with Choice Hotels, which is one of the largest lodging franchisers in the world.
“We’re excited to work with Woolpert and the Paladin group on the exciting launch and expansion of our new brand Everhome Suites,” Choice Hotels Senior Vice President of Development Ron Burgett said. “With our recent acquisition and continued expansion, we now have more than 22 brands and more than 7,500 hotels. We trust Woolpert for our Everhome Suites rollout design because they can expertly handle a great volume of our brands with a wide variety of franchisees.”
